clemaire@cliniquecoherence.com

Cynthia began her career in healthcare as an Athletic Therapist. She was quickly exposed to the principle of person-centered care which is the conceptual base of osteopathic philosophy.

Convinced of its importance, she pursued her studies at the College of Osteopathic Studies of Montreal (CEO). During her training, Cynthia participated in the first humanitarian mission in Peru organized by the CEO. She graduated as an Osteopath in 2009 after writing a memoir on the impact of osteopathic treatment on dilation during childbirth.

Since her graduation, she developed a clinical practice and has been teaching at the CEO. Cynthia is also involved in research as director and pre-reader of memoirs for CEO’s students.

She has followed several post-graduate trainings in the field of obstetrics, pediatrics, treatment of concussion and the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

Thanks to her Sports Therapy background, Cynthia also has a good knowledge of rehabilitation exercises that she frequently incorporates into treatments in order to involve the patient in their healing process.

edufour@cliniquecoherence.com

Elizabeth Dufour is deeply passionate about people’s health and wellness. Having struggled with injuries and their impact on her life herself, and having been relieved by osteopathic treatments, she chose to end a career in the business world to obtain her diploma and accompany patients in their own journey towards wellness.

Elizabeth graduated from full-time training at the College of Osteopathic Studies of Montreal. Always interested in improving her practice, she took post-graduate training in obstetrics, pediatrics, multidisciplinary approach to pain management and chronic pain, that last subject being of particular interest to her. She is also interested in stress, anxiety and trauma, and the multiple factors that are involved in the development of chronic pain. Passionate, empathetic and caring, Elizabeth is convinced of the importance of considering the patient as a whole. She sees her role as empowering the patient and believes in giving the patients clarity and tools to manage their situation. Her goal is to support patients in returning to wellness through treatments, pain education and recommendations adapted to each patient’s specific situation.
